About Ms. Zackery

Shanavia Zackery is a Housing Mobility Coordinator of The Glendower Group.  She joined the group in October of 2023 and is part of a team that is instrumental in placing families in new homes.

As a Housing Mobility Coordinator, Mrs. Zackery is responsible for connecting with families, assessing their housing requirements, and partnering with them in identifying suitable homes.  Additionally, Shanavia will identify the challenges that tenants experience in the rental market, and solutions to overcome them for a successful outcome.  The tenants serviced are the Housing Choice Voucher recipients referred by the  Housing Authority of New Haven.

Prior to working or The Glendower Group, Shanavia served 10 years at the Knights of Columbus Headquarters in New Haven as an administrator and legacy giving officer in their Charitable Giving Department, among other roles.

Mrs. Zackery holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology.  She is also a licensed Realtor®, and Public Notary with the state of Connecticut.
