Relocation Coordinator
Mayra Bravo is the Relocation Coordinator of The Glendower Group, the housing development instrumentality of the Housing Authority of the City of New Haven. Ms. Bravo joined The Glendower Group in January of 2021.
As the Relocation Coordinator, Ms. Bravo is responsible for all aspects of temporary and permanent relocation of public housing residents as a result of comprehensive modernization activities. Ms. Bravo ensures Glendower complies with HUD and where applicable the Federal Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies. She also applies sensitivity to the elderly and disabled who may experience mental or physical distress as a result of relocation process.
Before working for The Glendower Group, Ms. Bravo was a Waitlist Coordinator for 360 Management Group managing the New Haven Housing Authority HCV, LIPH, and LIHTC Waiting list portfolios. Prior to this position, Ms. Bravo worked as an Election Subject Matter Coordinator promoting and coordinating the Presidential and General Elections for the Ecuadorian Constituents. After that, she served as a Communications Coordinator in the migrant protection and education program for the Ecuadorian Consulate, a Diplomatic Mission of Ecuador serving the New England area.
Ms. Bravo holds a Blended Occupancy Specialist Certification, Tax Credit (LIHTC) Compliance Certification, Housing Quality Standards Certification, Housing Mobility Counseling Certification, and a Notary Public License. She is pursuing her Business Management Administration degree at Albertus Magnus College.
